Privacy policy
This page describes the personal-data processing involved in using eigora.tampipo.fr, as required by regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What the site does not do
Worth stating first, since it is most of the story:
- no sign-up, no account, no form;
- no analytics and no advertising trackers — no Analytics, no pixel, no ad network;
- no advertising cookies, no profiling, no data ever sold;
- fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser contacts no third party — Google Fonts included.
Data controller
Tanguy Marsault — address and contact on the Legal notice page.
What is processed
Server logs. The web server and the API record, for each request, the IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the HTTP status code and the browser description (user-agent).
- Purpose: keeping the site running, diagnosing faults, detecting abuse and intrusion attempts.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)) in the security and correct operation of the service.
- Retention: six months at most, then automatic deletion.
Simulation parameters. When you move a slider, the corresponding physical values (mass, well width, energy…) are sent to the computation API, which returns the result. Those values contain no personal data, are tied to no profile, and are not kept beyond the request that produced them.
Cookies
The site sets a single cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the display language you picked. It holds only en or fr, carries no expiry date — so it is dropped when you close your browser — and is set only when the language shown differs from the one your browser announces.
That cookie is strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for, which exempts it from prior consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act — hence the absence of a cookie banner. No other cookie is used, and the site stores nothing in your browser's local storage.
Recipients
No data is passed to any third party. The site is self-hosted: the technical logs stay on the publisher's own infrastructure, with no processor in between. The servers are located in France; no transfer outside the European Union takes place.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data concerning you. These rights can be exercised by email at the address given in the Legal notice.
Given what is actually held — technical logs indexed by IP address — an access or erasure request needs the IP address and the period concerned, without which the records relating to you cannot physically be found.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or at cnil.fr.
